PacketLossTest.dev does not require an account. Test results are shown in your browser and are not public by default.

The test needs to connect to a test server. During a test, the server temporarily handles packet sequence numbers and timing data so it can return a server summary. Sessions are short-lived and should be expired by the test server after completion.

Anonymous operational data may be used to keep the service stable, including timestamps, approximate region, browser type, test settings, aggregate outcomes, and hashed IP data for rate limiting. PacketLossTest.dev does not sell user data.

If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this page should be updated with the relevant third-party cookie and tracking details before those tools are enabled.
